Iain Corbett announced his retirement from Inter County Football:
Today we celebrate the end of an inter county career of a Limerick football legend and a gentleman, in the announcement of Iain Corbett’s retirement from inter county football .
On behalf of the Limerick Football board and Limerick County Board, We want to express our deepest gratitude to Iain as he closes an incredible chapter, after 14 seasons of dedicated service. Few players have shown the loyalty, professionalism and passion that he has brought to our team year after year.
His contribution on and off the field has not only delivered countless memorable moments but has also set a standard for those who will follow in his footsteps. Iain has been a leader, a role model and an inspiration to teammates, management and supporters alike.
While we are sad to see him retire from playing, we celebrate his remarkable career and the legacy he leaves behind. Thank you Iain for everything you have given to Limerick Football , you will always be part of the Limerick football family.”We wish you well in your future endeavours on and off the field.
