Na Piarsaigh GAA Club Notes:

Scór:
Na Piarsaigh claimed its first title of 2026 last Thursday evening as our Scór Tráth na gCeist team defeated Mungret in a tie break. You could cut the tension with a knife. Well done to Brendan O’Neill, Dáithí de Búrca, Tom McEvoy and Seoirse Laffan. Brilliant lads.

Adult Fixtures:
League groups and fixtures were released for both our footballers and hurlers last week. The league format has changed from the City and County league of the last few years to a straight all county league split into multiple divisions. Our footballers kick off their campaign with a home tie against Pallasgreen on the weekend of the 14th of March while our hurlers commence their league with a home game against Adare on the weekend of the 22nd. Our intermediate hurlers face Mungret at home on the same weekend. The exact dates and times for these fixtures are yet to be confirmed. You can view all fixtures on ClubZap.
County Hurling League Division 1: Na Piarsaigh, Monaleen, Doon, Ahane, Patrickswell, Ballybrown, Adare and Kilmallock.
County Hurling League Division 4: Na Piarsaigh, Knockainey, Pallasgreen, Feenagh Kilmeedy, St. Kieran’s, Hospital Herbertstown, Knockaderry and Mungret.
County Football League Division 3: Na Piarsaigh, Pallasgreen, Galbally, St. Senan’s, Cappagh and St. Patrick’s.
Our Junior B hurlers were selected in both division 8 and 10 in error but likely to be division 10. We should get confirmation this week.
