Dinner Dance:
Pallasgreen GAA Club is delighted to announce their Dinner Dance taking place on Monday, March 16th in the Ballykisteen Hotel. This special evening will celebrate two historic achievements in the club’s proud history, the 1995 and 2002 County Intermediate Hurling Championship winning teams. It promises to be a fantastic night of memories, music, fine food, and celebration as we honour the players and mentors who brought glory to Pallasgreen. Whether you were part of those great teams, supported from the sidelines, or simply want to enjoy a wonderful social night with the club and community. Tickets are now on sale. Congratulations:
Congratulations to Padraic Phelan who has been selected as captain to the Limerick U20 Football team, best wishes to all involved in the coming season. Also well done to Daire Long who has been selected on the Limerick Minor hurling panel. Congratulations to Juliette McKenna who was a member of the Laurel Hill Secondary FCJ that won the All Ireland Junior C Colleges final beating St Wolstan’s Community School of Kildare 4-8 to 0-3 in Johnstown, Co Kilkenny last Weekend. Well done also to John McKenna was part of the management team.
Camogie Club Fundraising Table Quiz:
Well done to everyone who took part in and supported the Camogie Club Fundraising Table Quiz in Powers Bar last Friday night. It was a fantastic evening filled with great fun, friendly competition, and wonderful community spirit. There was an amazing array of fabulous spot prizes on display throughout the night, adding to the excitement and enjoyment for all involved. A sincere thank you to all our generous sponsors and to everyone who donated prizes. Your continued support is truly appreciated and plays a vital role in helping our club thrive.

Juvenile Club Medal Presentation:
The community centre was alive with excitement recently as the annual Juvenile Club Medal Presentation and Awards Ceremony took place. A large crowd of enthusiastic youngsters, proud parents, coaches and supporters gathered to celebrate the dedication and achievements of the club’s young players throughout the 2025 season. The atmosphere was electric as players were recognised for their hard work, commitment and sportsmanship over the past year. The evening was made even more special by the presence of members of the Limerick senior hurling team, fresh from their emphatic victory over Tipperary senior hurling team the previous evening in Semple Stadium. In attendance on the night were Colin Ryan, Adam English, and Shane O’Brien, who generously gave of their time to present medals and pose for photos. There was no shortage of selfies and autograph requests as the young players seized the opportunity to meet their county heroes. Their presence added inspiration and excitement to what was already a memorable occasion. Individual Award Winners 2025; U12 Christy McMahon Memorial Shield Award Player of the Year 2025, John Dillon. U14 Michael O’Donoghue Perpetual Award Player of the Year 2025, Paudie Blackwell. U16 Maurice O’Brien Memorial Award Player of the Year 2025, Cathal McKenna. Jimmy Fanning Merit Award, Awarded to the player who performed above expectations was Maurice O’Brien. Each award recipient was warmly applauded as they stepped forward to receive their medals, a fitting recognition of their commitment and outstanding performances throughout the season. There was a special presentation to Denis Tracy for his dedicated service as Children’s Officer and to Pat Blackwell for their tremendous commitment and devotion to the club over the past decade. The club would like to thank everyone who helped organise the event, the coaches and mentors who dedicate countless hours to developing our young players, and especially the parents for their continued support throughout the year.
