A huge well done to all clubs for embedding health and wellbeing into club life, promoting inclusion, and supporting their wider communities.

The Limerick GAA Health & Wellbeing Seminar was an inspiring and informative event showcasing best practice from our gold healthy clubs Claughaun and Athea. The evening featured presentations from Amy Coll (Croke Park) Deirdre O’Donoghue (HSE), and Iggy Clark (Wellbeing) with Paul Darcy outling the GAA’s partnership with Samaritans.

Information stands were also provided by Samaritans, Grow Mental Health, Limerick Mental Health, Limerick Suicide Watch & Prevention, and the Ballybrown Smartphone Free Committee.

We also look forward to welcoming new clubs who have been accepted this week into the next phase of the Healthy Clubs programme.
