Limerick GAA:
There was no joy for the Limerick Footballers last Sunday in Pairc Ui Chaoimh as they suffered a comprehensive 4-16 to 1-16 defeat to a strong Cork side in the Munster Championship Quarter Final. A nightmare first half in which they conceded four goals meant that Limerick were always chasing the game. To their credit they gave a very positive display in the second half but it was all too late. Fr. Caseys had five players involved on the day, Diarmuid Buckley and Sean Kilbridge starting in the full back line, Eliah Riordan starting in midfield, Rory O’Brien playing wing forward and Mark McCarthy introduced in the second half. Eliah adding 0-05 to the scoreboard while Rory and Mark also kicked a point each. Sam Quigley currently injured is also part of this squad. Limerick will now enter the Tailteann Cup
There was no success for the Limerick U20 Footballers last Saturday in Mick Neville Park when they were comprehensively defeated by Tipperary in the Munster B Final to end an underwhelming campaign for this team. And there was further disappointment on Monday evening when the Limerick Minor Footballers were defeated 1-13 to 1-12 away to Waterford to narrowly miss out on a place in the Munster Semi-Finals with Clare and Waterford progressing to join Kerry and Cork
Club Lotto Results – April 7th:
Fr. Caseys club lotto continued on Tuesday night with a Jackpot of €30,000 up for grabs. The numbers drawn were 12, 15, 23 with the bonus ball 04. There was no jackpot winner this week but we did have match 3 & lucky dip prizes. The draw continues next Tuesday with the Jackpot remaining at the maximum value of €30,000.

Friday Night Card Game:
The weekly progressive 41 card game continued last Friday night and another great night was enjoyed. Starting at 8.30pm sharp in the GAA clubhouse, please spread the word and bring a friend, old and new faces are more than welcome.
